As the digital world continues to grow, it is not easy to stay up-to-date on all of the software's and technologies that continue to become necessities in our lives. That is why the Fort Collins Digital Workshop (FCDW) was founded.

In 2005, The Fort Collins Digital Workshop was formed in Fort Collins, Colorado to help people in the community by offering individual training sessions on various computer software's. The goals of the FCDW were set to help people with all of their computer training needs, no matter how big or small. Today, the FCDW has evolved into your local resource for all of your computer training needs, as well as offering several computer services, consulting services, and pro audio courses.

In the beginning, the FCDW's founder, Stu Crair, offered to teach friends some technical skills out of his home office. Using his Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and over 10 years experience in the IT industry and as a computer teacher, Mr. Crair has helped hundreds of students since the Workshop began. These students have gone on to become proficient in new software's, acquire new jobs and improve their professional resumes.

Today, The Fort Collins Digital Workshop offers a friendly atmosphere to teach students about the benefits of living in a digital world. Whether you're a complete beginner at using computers or a seasoned computer programming expert, the Digital Workshop offers courses to help you advance your continuing computer education. The Fort Collins Digital Workshop is one of the few training centers in Northern Colorado that offers Technical End-User, Professional Development, and Proprietary Courses.

Classes are custom-designed to suit your individual or group needs, and all of the Workshop's instructors offer dedicated, personal attention to our students. The class curriculums are designed from all of the instructor's classroom experiences to ensure clear, concise lessons with real-life examples. The fee for all classes include the cost of a professional textbook, a take home CD with practice examples, one month of free email/phone support, and one year of a free re-take of the same course.

As the Fort Collins Digital Workshop continues to grow, we strive to reach out and help new students, while offering the same cozy confines of the private learning environment that was a mainstay from the start. About Stu Crair:

Stu Crair began the Fort Collins Digital Workshop in 2005 as a way to help private individuals and small businesses learn from his 10+ years of experience as a computer teacher and in the IT industry. Stu earned his Bachelor's of Science from the University of Maryland with a major in Information Systems in 2000 and went on to work in several dot coms in the DC area soon after. There, he worked on programming teams to develop several web plug-ins for huge companies such as the American Cancer Society, AFL-CIO, and more. After leaving DC, Stu returned home to Columbus, Ohio to become a computer teacher at adult education centers and junior colleges across the city. After several years in Ohio, Stu moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to work as a Network Operations Manager. Shortly after leaving this position, Mr. Crair began the FCDW as a way to get back to teaching privately. Currently, Stu still teaches most of the courses that the FCDW offers with specialties in Office Products, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, Database Design and Implementation, Web scripting, and Web Design courses. In addition to still teaching hundreds of courses per year, Stu is also the President/CEO of the Fort Collins Digital Workshop.
